Adoptions
Daily “Spirit to be Free” gets many phone calls from people telling us of animals that either need a home or help finding a place for their animals. Some have found a lost animal. Others have had a life style change and are looking for someone to care for their animals. Anne knows many animal lovers and contacts them to see if anyone can assist her with the placement. If not she keeps them for a short time trying to find a good home to place them in.

Shawnee
We took Shawnee from a shelter as she came in at approx. 25 lbs and brought her back to health at 63 lbs. She has her vaccinations even rattlesnake, spayed and looking now for a forever home. Shawnee is young, full of life, loves attention and very easy to train.
Ava
Ava, her mate and 2 puppies were dropped in a parking lot. Someone took the puppies but left the parents; a kind lady rescued them and brought them to our sanctuary. We were able to place the male, but Ava is still here and available for adoption.
Puppies
In the last 3 weeks we’ve picked up 2 litters from the brush, seven puppies in all. Two from Mom Rashee and 5 from Red. All have been sent to a loving foster home until they’re old enough to be altered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
